Hamilton Pilates Studio – Terms and Conditions (T&C’s)

The following T&C’s apply to Pilates Classes at the studio. We want you to enjoy and benefit from your Pilates classes. The T&C’s below are set out to help you do this and to safeguard our classes
By booking a class or private Pilates sessions with Hamilton Pilates either through online booking or by cash or cheque, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as set out below.

Before you start

A health screen questionnaire must be completed before taking part in Pilates classes. Please ensure that you update your contact or medical details if they change. This information will be held in strict confidentiality.
The induction class is fundamental as it teaches clients the style, methods and terminology used during pilates classes enabling you to get maximium benefit. These classes are a pre-requisite for all clients who have no previous or recent experience of pilates.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

Mat classes are booked in blocks so your space is always available for you every week. . We offer a make-up system which allows an opportunity to reschedule subject to availability, if you know in advance you will miss your regular class.

In order to qualify for a make-up you must inform us at least 4 hours in advance of the class you are unable to attend. This can be done by using our Class Swap system online.

No refunds can be made for missed classes or holidays.
Places in class cannot be reserved until payment is received. There is often a waiting list for places. Before the course ends you will be invited to re-enrol for the following course, however if your payment has not been received by the required date your place will be offered to the next person waiting to join.

Hamilton Pilates Studio holds a strict non-refundable policy

Missed classes cannot be carried over to a future term or applied against private lessons.

In the event that we have to cancel a class that you have booked, you will receive a full refund and/or offered a space in an alternative class if suitable.

Safety

Participation in both group and individual sessions is at the individual’s own risk. Always listen to your body and exercise at a pace and level which is best for you. Stop if you feel discomfort and let your instructor know. It is your responsibility to ensure you are capable of carrying out the exercises provided.

Please let your instructor know any changes which may affect your ability to exercise prior to class.

No sweets or chewing gum during class.

General

There is a maximum of 14 people per class, some classes will have fewer. Wearing masks in the studio is now optional.

Mobile phones should be switched off or on silent during a class except in exceptional circumstances.

Please bring your mat and other equipment – cushion/towel, yoga block, pilates circle.

Clothing should be close fitting and un-restricting rather than baggy so that the instructor can see how you are moving & help you more easily. Socks should be worn in the studio for hygiene purposes.

For the comfort and privacy of our clients, visitors to classes are not permitted.

Please do not bring any items of value into the studio. We do not accept any liability for any damage or loss to such items.

The main car park outside the studio will be lit at night. All parking is at the owner’s own risk.

ALL information you provide is held in strict confidence and information is never passed to third parties.
